Description

The CFA engaged community land representatives to identify areas within the community lands that surround the forest that are completely bare and with gentle slope and establish micro catchments using semi – circular bunds. Community members were engaged in both establishment and reseeding of the semi – circular bunds with a technical team used in the previous restoration activities by both the CFA and LWF guiding and supervising the process.

I. 2000 semi – circular bunds established and reseeded in the community land with 30 men and 15 women having been engaged
II. 50 community members engaged
III. 6 community supervisors engaged
IV. 2 technical team members helped facilitate the process
V. Coordinates of the restored sites taken and shared
