    Implementation Steps:

    1. Choose a tree: Select a tree that's suitable for your climate, soil, and the function you want it to serve in your landscape.
    2. Dig a hole: Dig a hole that's as deep as the root ball and three times as wide. Remove any debris, like rocks or other roots.
    3. Prepare the tree: Soak the root ball, and remove any dead or damaged roots.
    4. Position the tree: Center the tree in the hole, and make sure it's straight.
    5. Backfill: Gently fill the hole around the roots with soil. You can add mycorrhizal fungi to the soil to help the tree absorb water and minerals.
    6. Water and mulch: Water the tree well, and add mulch to help retain moisture and prevent weeds.
    7. Stake the tree: Use stakes to support the tree, especially if it's in a windy location or if the root ball doesn't feel solid.
